As noted, the designers of AvtoVAZ introduced a more modern and efficient upholstery of the engine compartment shield, added new plugs, gaskets and bushings, which should prevent the penetration of extraneous noise into the cabin from the engine compartment.
In addition, the cars received improved wheel arch guards, improved noise insulation in the luggage compartment, and a new muffler mount, which will also positively affect the acoustic comfort of the car. Recall that over the past few months, the demand for the Granta and Kalina models has decreased significantly. So, the Granta model in March was sold in a circulation of 5181 cars, while a year earlier AvtoVAZ sold almost 2.5 times more copies of the model.
Kalina is doing a little better, with sales down 25% compared to March 2015. For comparison, it is worth noting that the Korean Hyundai Solaris, on the contrary, continues to increase sales, which exceeded the mark of 7600 units in March this year.
The reason for the "failure" of domestic models can be considered not only the build quality and design inferior to the Korean, but also rather high prices, which make Russians look at slightly more expensive, but more equipped and attractive competitors.
