The updated Audi S8 plus was officially presented at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The main feature of the novelty is that, despite the very "civil" appearance, the car has the soul and character of a real sports car.

The interior of the Audi S8 plus is distinguished by the presence of light and refined lines, the impeccably traced architecture of the front dashboard, as well as high attention to detail.
The quality of materials and fit of parts are above all praise, however, this has long been the standard for premium cars, which includes the S8 model.
In front of the driver there is a multifunctional three-spoke steering wheel with an ideal cross-section, as well as a beautiful and, most importantly, informative instrument panel, represented by two analog indicators of a tachometer and speedometer, and a color screen of the on-board computer.
In the center of the dashboard there is a large display of the multimedia information system that extends from the bowels of the front panel, which displays the most important information on the on-board nature of the car, as well as a navigation map and images from all-round cameras. Landing of the driver and front rider does not raise any questions or complaints. Perfectly profiled seats, together with well-defined lateral support, provide the most comfortable fit. Already in the standard version, the chairs are equipped with lumbar support, heating and ventilation functions, and also have a wide range of electrical adjustments.
The second-row sofa can accommodate three passengers, but the convenience of the third is somewhat hampered by the high transmission tunnel. As an option, there is the option of installing individual seats equipped with a massage function, as well as an entertainment system, represented by two color displays mounted in the headrests of the front seats.
The trunk volume is 520 liters, which is not a record figure, but allows you to place a large amount of hand luggage. A full-fledged spare wheel can be located in the luggage compartment underground, which “eats up” 45 liters of usable space.
The main difference between the "charged" version from the "civilian" is the presence of a more original interior trim, which is represented by high-quality leather "Feinnappa" with stylish red stitching, as well as decorative elements made of carbon and brushed aluminum.

The main attraction of the new Audi S8 plus is undoubtedly the 605-horsepower 4-liter petrol engine, delivering maximum power with an impressive 750 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a modern 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, featuring more precise and faster gear shifting. The car received a proprietary all-wheel drive system "quattro", which, together with an electronic differential, is capable of transmitting torque in a ratio of 40:60 between the front and rear axles.
Acceleration from 0 to 100 takes an impressive 3.8 seconds, while after 13 seconds the speedometer needle confidently surpasses the 200 km / h mark. The maximum speed of the sedan is electronically limited to 250 km / h, but if a special sports package is installed, the maximum possible speed can reach 305 km / h. Fuel consumption in mixed driving mode is only 9.6 liters, which is not much for a car with a total curb weight of more than 2 tons.
From a technical point of view, the "charged" version of the sedan largely repeats the decisions of its "civilian" counterpart. The machine is also designed on the MLB platform, represented by an aluminum multi-link with pneumatic elements at the front and rear, as well as an electric power steering wheel with a choice of several modes of operation. The basic equipment of the car is equipped with ventilated disc brakes, and for an additional fee, you can install carbon-ceramic.
