The appearance of a new brand of car of the Swedish company has been talked about for several years. After the transfer of Volvo into the hands of the Chinese company Geely, the latter decided to separate a separate brand, giving it the name Polestar. Previously, it was one of the divisions of Volvo, engaged in the refinement of luxury cars.

For the first time, the new Polestar 1 car became known on October 17, 2017 at an official exhibition in China. A branch of the company is a kind of response from Mercedes-AMG. Many are also convinced that this is precisely why the Chinese manufacturer separated Polestar from Volvo, while retaining the recognizable features of the main brand. According to various sources, Geely invested about $ 640 million in this project. Thus, emphasizing the uniqueness of the new model, although externally and internally, the car reminds many of the new products from Volvo.

Speaking about the appearance of the new Polestar 1 2019-2020, it cannot be said that it is completely unique and new, many parts are taken from the latest generations of Volvo cars, but there are still unique parts developed from scratch, in particular on the side. Otherwise, Polestar 1 2019-2020 acquired a sporty character and modern design.

If the appearance of Polestar 1 2019-2020 still somehow received unique features and unique body parts, then the interior in the full sense of the word is ripped off from new Volvo cars. The dashboard is fully digital, based on a color 12.3 ″ display. The driver can independently adjust the location of the instruments and the basic information to be displayed.
