Lamborghini was scheduled to unveil the new limited edition supercar to elite buyers at the week-long Monterey Luxury Car Festival. According to all reports, this secret display happened, and it is mentioned that this car will be publicly unveiled to the public at the 2016 Geneva Auto Show.

The company does not want to confirm any facts about the car, but it is possible that it could be a hybrid, such as the Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder, Road and Track. If that’s true, then Lamborghini was late for the new supercar party.

While the last three, hyper hybrids still look aggressive and intimidating, they have not yet been mass-produced. Ferrari and McLaren went further, wanted to build models specifically designed for tracks. But that doesn't mean Lamborghini can't beat them in what they plan to launch; it's a bit surprising that the production of the hybrid model was chosen. Lamborghini unveiled the amazing Asterion LP910-4 at the 2014 Paris Auto Show.

Lamborghini did not want to believe that the Asterion would remain a concept, insisting that only a hybrid drivetrain would be put into production to increase fuel economy. Until now, this does not seem to be true.

Lamborghini build some very impressionable cars, but they are not cars like Ferrari, McLaren and Porsche. The hybrids of these companies have received a lot of attention, perhaps Lamborghini just wants to cash in on the trend in the hybrid car industry as well.

Just like the recent Veneno, in theory, a hybrid would just start to be considered a production car. According to M.O. Lambo, this hybrid will be built in extremely limited quantities and offered to select Lamborghini buyers only. Which will most likely keep these cars hermetically sealed in private collections in large garages.

According to some sources, Lamborghini will present two new versions of the Hurac? N in Geneva. A Hurac? N Spyder convertible and a rear-wheel drive model that can replace the old Gallardo Balboni and similar sports limited editions.
