Regarding the engine marked G-TEC (gasoline + gas), the manufacturer does not yet provide much information about it, as well as what configurations this unit will get. It is known from reliable data that a 1.0-liter TSI will be used as a gasoline engine. The location of the gas tank remains unknown, as they promised to remove it from the general view, hiding it under the cover of the luggage compartment. To save fuel, a 6-speed manual transmission is promised to be installed in conjunction with the G-TEC engine.

As for the same competitor Volkswagen Golf VII, only one TSI gasoline engine with a volume of 1.4 liters and a capacity of 125 horses is offered for the choice of a buyer in Russia. The engine is paired with only a 7-speed automatic transmission. It turns out that Golf loses to the new Skala. No diesel unit, no manual transmission, and even more so, the installation of a factory gas installation is not expected.

It is worth noting that in the top-end versions of the Skoda Skala, adaptive, reflex Full LED optics with square lenses will be installed. This approach made it possible to add several assistants, as well as an optics control system. The official start of sales of the new Skoda Scala in Europe started in the first half of 2019. The manufacturer has promised that this will only be a starter set of complete sets. In the future, they plan to add at least 4 more options. The main advantage is that gasoline and diesel engines are available, as well as a mechanical or robotic transmission.

Russia will soon receive the same configurations as for Europe. The engines meet the standards, and the prices are likely to remain within the same range. The question remains when the G-TEC equipment will enter the market, since a gas installation with factory settings will be in great demand.
